Surrey Board of Trade Focuses on Health Care Industry Innovation 

Surrey, B.C. – On Thursday, September 28th, the Surrey Board of Trade, in partnership with the BC-India Business Network and the Canada India Network Society, will focus on Health Care Industry Innovation in Surrey, Canada and India. The event will feature keynote speaker Rahul Reddy, Senior Vice President, Strategic Relations and New Initiatives, Apollo Hospitals, the largest private hospital in India. Mr. Reddy has been responsible for launching Apollo’s International Coordinated Care program, mobile first disease management solution, and international research programs related to South Asian health. Currently the Apollo Hospitals Group is one of Asia’s largest integrated healthcare organization with operations throughout India and overseas.

A partnership announcement will also be made at this event.

Plus, guests will hear an update on Surrey’s Innovation Boulevard by Samudra Dissanayake, Ph.D.,Director of Business Development and Strategy, Innovation Boulevard.

Additionally, the Surrey Board of Trade will present two winners with the Surrey Innovation Awards. The awards are presented to Surrey Board of Trade members or Surrey-based businesses/organizations or youth have developed a new or improved technology, service, process or product by using creative methods and innovative thinking that has the potential to transform an industry sector or quality of life.
