Surrey Board of Trade to Hear about how to Get Ready for Marijuana in the Workplace and in Canada’s Economy

The Surrey Board of Trade has been advocating to both the provincial and federal government to focus on business and the workplace before marijuana use is legalized in 2018.

By next Summer, Canada will officially legalize marijuana. This is a fundamental change to Canadian law. This will have a significant impact to business and to Canada’s economy.

On November 9 from 7:30 – 9:30 am at the Guildford Golf & Country Club, businesses can attend the Surrey Board of Trade’s Surrey Hot Topic Breakfast dialogue with the focus on provincial responsibilities, industrial & business benefits/opportunities, regulatory framework and the remaining risks of this legislation. Admission is Free.

Hear from panelists:
1. Cindy Zheng – Associate, McQuarrie Hunter LLP
2. Barinder Rasode – President & CEO, NICHE Canada
3. Dan Reader – President, Murray Latta Progressive Machine
4. Tom Brocklehurst – Director of Regulatory Practices, Prevention Practices, WorkSafeBC
