BC’S HEALTH & TECHNOLOGY MINISTER TO ATTEND CANADA-INDIA HEALTH EVENT IN SURREY

CINI 2018 – Canada India Networking Initiative – continues to build links between Canada and India to implement processes, strategies, technologies for sustainable health through patient engagement, social innovation and technology. Over 100 health professionals from India will be in attendance to build ties to Surrey and to British Columbia to collaborate on leading health technologies and processes.

1. Organized by Canada India Network Society (www.thecins.org) and co hosted by Fraser Health and SFU, the conference is to build healthy society, Saturday’s first session will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm at 13450-102 Avenue with opening remarks by BC Minister of Health Adrian Dix. Topics address the War on Diabetes, Palliative Care – Building the Bridge and Mental Health and Addiction – Solutions and Challenges.

2. Saturday’s second session is 1:15pm to 4pm at Surreys SFU Campus and will tackle topics like leadership and health – leadership and health to build a healthy and civil society.

3. And then on Saturday night, a banquet dinner co-hosted by the Surrey Board of Trade at the Royal King Banquet Hall (8158-128 Street) will welcome over 550 guests. Both Minister Dix and and Jobs Innovation Technology Minister Bruce Ralston will give remarks at this event.
