Surrey Board of Trade Members Focus on Giving Back to Community this Holiday Season

At two upcoming Surrey Board of Trade events, Surrey’s business community is urged to participate and give generously to the Surrey Hospital Foundation and to the Surrey Food Bank.

1.     On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 5-8pm at the Civic Hotel (13475 Central Avenue, Surrey, BC), the Surrey Board of Trade’s Big Christmas Party takes place with a Great Gatsby theme. The event itself will have live entertainment, blackjack, wine and whiskey tasting, ice breaker bingo, interactive games, costumes and much more! This Seasonal Sizzle Business Reception, with Presenting Sponsors BCLC and Elements Casino, encourages businesses to attend by donation to give what they can to the Surrey Hospital Foundation. The Surrey Hospital Foundation is the largest non-government funder of health care for families in Surrey and the surrounding Fraser Valley communities supporting investments in innovative medicine and life-changing health care.

2.     On Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5-8pm at the Surrey Board of Trade (#101, 14439-104 Avenue, Surrey BC) is the New Year’s Business Reception, an annual event that focuses on building connections and a toast to a successful business year. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to benefit the Surrey Food Bank.

“Businesses have a leadership role to give back to the community and help those in need. The Surrey Board of Trade creates opportunities for the business community to give back to help the livability of our city”, said Anita Huberman, CEO, Surrey Board of Trade.
