The Surrey Board of Education has appointed Chairperson Laurie Larsen as the Trustee representative for the Surrey Board of Trade.
The Surrey Board of Trade has had a productive relationship with the Surrey School District – working together on youth entrepreneurship programs and school investments for Surrey.
“The Surrey Board of Trade continues to advocate for world-class education for Surrey youth,” Anita Huberman, CEO stated regarding the announcement. “The Surrey Board of Trade has instigated change and awareness over the past 12 years by submitting government policies for more school spaces, and calling for amendments to the school funding formula.”
