The Surrey Board of Trade is bringing in a very unique and famous guest speaker to Surrey – a Kennedy – more specifically Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“Mr. Kennedy will speak on environmental policy and the clean technology industry sector – both important economic issues for Surrey in our Cascadia Innovation Corridor,” said Anita Huberman, CEO, Surrey Board of Trade.
The Surrey Board of Trade will also present 4 winners at the 9th Surrey Environment and Business Awards event. The awards are presented to Surrey Board of Trade members or Surrey-based businesses that have demonstrated exceptional dedication to environmental leadership and/or issues. The award recipients are guided by a sense of respect for the environment and demonstrate this initiative consistently.
The 2019 finalists are:
Eat the Dishes
Gallop International Trade Co. Ltd.
Tailwind Energy Group Corp.

A Circular Economy Award will also be presented to one of the finalists above. The winner will have demonstrated that they re-invent, re-think and re-define how they use materials.
