The Surrey International Trade Centre, at the Surrey Board of Trade, will host the Consul General of Ireland Frank Flood and BC Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, Bruce Ralston, at the digital Discover Trade and Investment meeting focused on business opportunities between Canada and Ireland, utilizing the Canadian European Trade Agreement.
In addition, the following speakers will also be addressing the audience and will respond to questions:
1. Kate Hickey, Executive Director of the Ireland Canada Business Association. The ICBA is the representative voice of over 100 companies doing business between Ireland and Canada, 70 of which are Canadian companies with Irish operations.
2. Emma Doherty, Partner in Matheson’s International Business Group. Doherty practices corporate law and works with international companies on the establishment, expansion and operation of their businesses in Ireland.
3. Suzanne Drisdelle Senior Canadian diplomat and Trade Commissioner with Global Affairs Canada.
