FEDERAL ELECTION NEWS Surrey Board of Trade Launches the ‘Surrey Matters! in Federal Election 2021 — Please Vote Campaign’

Advanced Voting Begins September 10

The Surrey Board of Trade believes that voting is a privilege. Voting connects citizens with their political process. The simple act of marking a ballot tells our leaders what we think about decisions that affect our lives. By respectfully agreeing or disagreeing with our leaders we show that the political system can accept differing points of view and can resolve them.

“That is why the Surrey Board of Trade, as Surrey’s city-building, non-partisan business organization, has launched the ‘Surrey Matters! in Federal Election 2021 – Please Vote’ Campaign,” said Anita Huberman, CEO, Surrey Board of Trade. “We encourage eligible voters to vote on September 20. Advanced voting begins on September 10.”

The Surrey Board of Trade is committed to increasing the number of voters in Surrey because Surrey Matters!

As a reminder, the Surrey Candidates Dialogue is on September 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel (limited seats available – session will be recorded).
