The Surrey Board of Trade has heard that as of October 1, all travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer have to:
1. Submit public health information through the ArriveCAN app or website;
2. Provide proof of vaccination;
3. Undergo pre- or on-arrival testing;
4. Carry out COVID-19-related quarantine or isolation;
5. Monitor and report if they develop signs or symptoms of COVID-19 upon arriving to Canada;
6. Undergo health checks for travel on air and rail; and,
7. Wear masks on planes and trains.
“As a border city, Surrey relies on the free flow of the movement of people for our businesses,” said Anita Huberman, President & CEO, Surrey Board of Trade. “Industries such as tourism, hospitality and events can now focus on full economic recovery.”
