CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH

Cyber criminals spend their days trying to trick us into giving up our personal information, tamper with our devices and even steal our identities. In this Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Surrey Board of Trade wants businesses and workplaces to learn more about spotting phishing messages, and take simple steps to protect themselves. The Surrey Board of Trade is encouraging businesses to be cyber-secure and cyber-certified by utilizing their partner CyberCatch to implement an ongoing risk assessment to avoid costly errors to businesses.

SMALL BUSINESS MONTH

Small businesses are key drivers of our local and provincial economies. Small businesses employ more than a million people in BC, which is over half of the total private sector employment in the province.

The Surrey Board of Trade supports their business members through economic opportunity, workplace development and education, international trade, government advocacy and business connections. We focus on the strength and innovation within every entrepreneur to take an idea and use it as the foundation for building a business. They have made their dreams a reality and inspire others to make their dreams come true.
