The Surrey Board of Trade offers our congratulations to King Charles III on his coronation. As part of the Commonwealth, the King will be the personal symbol of allegiance, unity and authority for Canadians. Legislators, ministers, public servants and members of the military and police will all swear allegiance to the King.
The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as King and Queen Consort of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms is to take place on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey. Livestreams through various digital platforms will be available.
