Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) and Surrey Board of Trade Sign MOU

Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) and the Surrey Board of Trade (SBOT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of supporting continued growth of  2SLGBTQI+ (Rainbow) businesses by developing and delivering various programming as determined essential by the CGLCC’s and SBOT’s memberships.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Surrey Board of Trade to support and celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ businesses in Surrey, and help create a more inclusive Canadian economy”, said Chris Mariano, Business Development Manager, West of Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce.

“This Memorandum of Understanding with Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce marks a significant step forward for the Surrey Board of Trade,” said Anita Huberman, President & CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade. “We are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for LGBT+ businesses in our community. Through this collaboration, we aim to deliver essential programming that drives growth and innovation, ensuring that every business has the opportunity to thrive.”

Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) is the only chamber of commerce uniting and advocating for the over 100,000 2SLGBTQI+ owned and operated businesses in Canada. CGLCC’s vision is to effect social change by economically empowering LGBT+ entrepreneurs. Its mission is to connect LGBT+ enterprises with corporate and government partners and each other to create and leverage Canadian and international business opportunities.

The Surrey Board of Trade attracts business to Surrey and supports business in Surrey.
