As summer comes to a close, the Surrey Board of Trade is keenly observing the resumption of Surrey City Council meetings, set to begin on Monday, September 9. These meetings mark a critical time for the city, as decisions made during these sessions will shape the business landscape and overall economic health of Surrey.
The Surrey Board of Trade, representing the voice of businesses across Surrey, will be actively engaged in these meetings to ensure the business community’s perspectives are front and centre in the decision-making process.
“Our participation in these meetings, whether we are providing comments on topics discussed or simply observing the meetings take place, underscores our commitment to advocating for policies that support economic growth and business prosperity,” said Jasroop Gosal, Interim Spokesperson and Policy & Research Manager at the Surrey Board of Trade. “We are dedicated to ensuring that the needs and concerns of our business community are heard and addressed by city council.”
The Surrey Board of Trade will be closely monitoring these discussions and providing input where necessary to support a thriving business ecosystem.
“The Surrey Board of Trade is here to collaborate with city leaders, ensuring that the business community remains a key player in Surrey’s growth and development,” added Gosal. “Our presence at these meetings is a testament to our role as the voice of business in Surrey.”
