Today marks my first day on the job as CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade and Acting Executive Director of the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce. I am excited and honoured to have been given this opportunity and look forward to serving our incredible business communities.
I want to acknowledge the incredible work of Indra Bhan, our Chief Operating Officer, who has been a steadfast caretaker of both organizations, ensuring member services were uninterrupted and momentum continued on our path to the merger. I also want to thank the staff team who are dedicated ambassadors and give their all each and every day.
As we look ahead, I am excited to build on the strong foundation set by my predecessors. I am particularly grateful to the Board of Directors of both organizations who have given generously of their time and expertise.
