At the 2016 Surrey Women in Business Awards Lunch this week, the Surrey Board of Trade (SBOT) launched their Women in Business Entrepreneurship Service Initiative.

Services, programming and capital for women entrepreneurs, developed through collaborative partnerships, will be funneled through the SBOT’s Business Centre. The four core areas for female business owners will be: Funding, Growth, Mentorship, and Leadership — and guided by the newly created SBOT Women in Business Team.

On Tuesday, March 8th, the Surrey Board of Trade will host the 7th Annual Surrey Women in Business Awards Luncheon, with Presenting Sponsor Vancity Savings Credit Union.  This event recognizes the hard work of Surrey’s businesswomen and their contributions to the community.

We will be joined by keynote speaker Christine Day, CEO of Luvo. Christine has been named Fortune Magazine’s top 5 International Most Powerful Women, Canada’s Top 100 Women, and named CEO of the Year, by Globe and Mail and Business in Vancouver.
