Activities will commence on Monday, April 22nd in Nuevo Nayarit upon the arrival of the delegates. Nuevo Nayarit has been selected as our first location due to its status as an excellent regional hub, facilitating connections with counterparts and stakeholders from important western states of Mexico, including Jalisco, Sinaloa, and Nayarit. Its close proximity to Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) and easy access to numerous amenities also contribute to its suitability as our starting point. The first night will be spent at the world class Vidanta Hotel, a beachside resort where the first B2B meetings will be organized as well as a Welcome Reception attended by Mexican business leaders.
The second day, April 23, will largely be spent in Nuevo Nayarit continuing meetings, presentations and networking before heading to PVR airport for a short transfer flight to Mexico City (included in registration fees). Upon arrival in Mexico City, the delegation will be staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City in the Santa Fe district. Santa Fe is well known for being the central business district of Mexico City and will put us in close proximity to Expo Santa Fe, the conference center set to host the 2024 Mexico Business Forum where the Canadian Delegation are considered as special guests.
The next two days, Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25 will be spent actively participating in the business forum, as well as other complementary activities. The Mexico Business Forum will consist of plentiful networking opportunities, along with discussions, B2B and panels with high-powered business leaders and authorities.
The final full day, Friday, April 26th will see the delegation take part in B2B meetings with industry counterparts, presentations and end with a closing event. On Saturday, April 27th, delegates will check out of the hotel and either head for the airport or continue their visit to Mexico.
The 2024 Canadian Trade Mission to Mexico will enable all participants to engage with diverse counterparts and stakeholders operating both within their fields and in adjacent sectors. This will allow them to build their network and seize opportunities across the country. Please note Canadian delegates are expected to arrive at Puerto Vallarta International Airport on April 22nd and plan their return from Mexico City airport on April 27th. The airports to arrive and depart from are suggestions, it is up to each delegate to decide their best itinerary. However, we will provide pickup and dropoff services for flights through the suggested airports. To be noted, all the breakfasts are included from Tuesday, April 23 to Friday, April 26 and several lunches and dinners. Participants will only have to cover a few meals during the week.
