From Our Board Chair – Chief Governance Officer

Indigenous Acknowledgement: I acknowledge that we are in the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people, specifically the Kwantlen, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo and the Tsawwassen First Nations. As well, I acknowledge the Inuit and Metis Nations peoples who live and work on these territories.

It is an honour to serve as the inaugural Chair of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade. Having previously served as Chair of the Surrey Board of Trade, I’ve witnessed firsthand the strength, innovation and resilience of our business community. I am proud to help lead this next chapter – one that unites the voices of Surrey and White Rock under a shared vision for regional prosperity.

The formation of this new organization is more than a merger; it’s a reflection of our evolving economy and the need for stronger, more inclusive representation. By bringing together business leaders from across both communities, we are building a platform that will enhance economic development, foster collaboration and provide greater value to our members.

Our work will be grounded in advocacy, connection and meaningful support – whether through policy leadership, cost-saving benefits or programs that drive innovation and growth. This is a pivotal moment, and I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members and our members-at-large to ensure that the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade remains a powerful, unified force for business success.

Thank you for your support as we move forward – together.
