Indigenous Acknowledgement: I acknowledge that we are in the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people, specifically the Kwantlen, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo and the Tsawwassen First Nations. It is an honour to serve as the inaugural Chair of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade. Having previously served as Chair of the Surrey Board of Trade, I’ve witnessed firsthand the strength, innovation and resilience of our business community. I am proud to help lead this next chapter – one that unites the voices of Surrey and White Rock under a shared vision for regional prosperity.

The formation of this new organization is more than a merger; it’s a reflection of our evolving economy and the need for stronger, more inclusive representation. By bringing together business leaders from across both communities, we are building a platform that will enhance economic development, foster collaboration and provide greater value to our members.

Our work will be grounded in advocacy, connection and meaningful support – whether through policy leadership, cost-saving benefits or programs that drive innovation and growth. This is a pivotal moment, and I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members and our members-at-large to ensure that the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade remains a powerful, unified force for business success.
