Support for Surrey Businesses Interested in Bidding on Federal Government Contracts-2024

The Surrey Board of Trade will be hosting a series of advisory sessions with Procurement Assistance Canada to support businesses who are interested in becoming suppliers to the Federal Government.

These free one-on-one sessions are offered by a member of the Procurement Assistance Pacific team at the Surrey Board of Trade office. They’re meant to help businesses learn about selling their goods and services to the government. You can ask questions, get tips on finding opportunities, bidding effectively, and accessing funding and support for your business.

Dates: April 3; May 14; July 15; September 11; and November 4

  • Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund
    The Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund is now accepting loan applications. This fund has been co-developed by the federal government in partnership with the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE) and includes a $130 million investment by BDC. The loan fund provides financing of up to $250,000 for Black business owners and entrepreneurs so they can grow their businesses and succeed now and into the future.Black entrepreneurs interested in finding out more about the Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund are encouraged to visit the FACE Coalition website.
